Giving matters. It has an impact. The picture above should remind all of us how important our giving is. All three of our ladies who were baptized are under the age of 20. They have been reached through Children's and Youth Ministry at our church. Some found Jesus at camp while others in youth group or with family at home. All are growing in their faith through the ministries at church. It is exciting to watch and be apart of. They chose to be baptized to make public their private confession of sin and repentance and decision to follow Jesus. They want all to know who they are following.
I grew up in church so I understand how important the impact of these ministries are. I had Sunday School teachers I still connect with on Facebook and in fact one of them supported Stephen to go to Belize on a Missions Trip. That is second generation impact. I had youth leaders who loved and encouraged me and I would not be where I am today without their impact. But everyone in my home church who made a decision to give had an impact on my life. They chose to give. They chose to obey God. They chose to let the church impact lives. And their giving made a difference in many lives including mine.
Your giving matters. If you give to our church then you had a hand in the picture above. You made sure the church was funded which allowed us to reach out. It is important you understand this and are reminded of it. Giving automatically drops in the summer. It is the same in every church. People are gone on vacations and family reunions. We forget to give. But the ministries go on. They continue to have impact.
Don't forget how important your giving is. We need you to give so we continue to see more pictures like the above. So let's give and let's watch what God will do!!!
